COACHING APPOINTMENT
Cullompton rugby club is proud to announce the appointment of Keith Brooking and Chris Wall to replace departing coach Charlie Mahon. These signings should enable it to build on the progress made during Charlie’s tenure. Keith's playing career, as a front row forward both prop and hooker, included spells with Exeter chiefs, the Barbarians and England ‘A’, has until very recently been plying his trade as forward’s coach to the Cornish All Blacks. Under his tutelage the All Blacks, which operates in National Division One, achieved a third place finish this season being narrowly edged out of second by London Scottish. Chris Wall will operate in the backs department. He played his rugby for Exeter Chiefs and is currently the sport’s academy director of Exeter College.

Development XV
The Development XV play in the Merit Table 1 League. To see the latest results and league table click here - Merit Table 1 League.
The Development XV play in Merit Table 1. Playing manager is Kevin Walker assisted by Keith Kennaugh, with captain Daniel Reed. Training, like the 1st XV, will be Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm at the club.

4th XV
Given the increasing number of players currently available, the club have, for the first time ever, started fielding a 4th XV with fixtures being arranged as and when player numbers allow. Ladies
Ladies Rugby started at Cullompton in 1997 with a group of girls with little or no knowledge of the game, but with good coaching and voracious appetite to learn the team has gone from strength to strength. Ladies Captain Laura Holway, Vice Captain Kayleigh Moore.

3rd XV
The 3rd XV will play in Merit Table 2 in the 2010/11 season and is always seeking to use players of all ages. The team will be captained by Barry Newton with Tom Clarke as vice-captain. Third team manager will be Buzz Tinley - contact him on 07771 991 642.

Colts
The Colts will be managed by Mark Weekes and Dave Reed. They will play in the Devon Colts League (East). Training is Mondays at 7pm at the club. New players (18 years) welcome. Just turn up on training nights or contact Mark Weekes on 07751 367 235.
